On my way to Atlanta, Georgia, from San Francisco, flying over the CDT in the Rockies. I was surprised to see almost no snow and became jealous of the class of 2026 CDT NOBO hikers!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

My friend Deven picked me up at Atlanta Airport and took me to her home. A wonderful Asian-themed dinner filled me up not only my belly but also my soul by consuming my people’s food as my last meal before the AT thru-hiking<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

I have the least knowledge and experience of hiking on the East Coast. I\u2019m curious.\u00a0I\u2019m nervous about the humid, hot weather and\u00a0rain.\u00a0I\u2019m excited for whatever unfolds.\u00a0I am grateful to have\u00a0an incredible family and friends who support me. This\u00a0is only possible because of people like you, and I hope you come along with me on this journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
